Buick Meeting

I don't know of any get together, but every Sat in Oak Hill at the "Y" there is a get together of cars. They meet in the parking lot of Albertson's. I don't know if I will make it this Sat, but am going to try. They start getting there about 6PM until ????.

The car show at the Y (Austin) is still going on. It is were Highway 290 and 71 split off. There is always a good showing of car.

Have not been to Oak Hill in forever, but I'd venture to say no. Everytime I go to a meet it is the only GN there.

That place was pretty smooth since there was a Whataburger right next to it :biggrin: I went a while back and it was a blast. Anyhow, I travel all over Texas and you probaly want find a bigger group of car gtgs than down in Austin. It's insane how many comes out and the catagory of cars that shows up. But I haven't see an GN's around there. I actually took my truck one time and met a friend down there...

Sorry it wasn't me, I'm usualy in Tuscon that time of year.

Although I wasn't there, I probaly know most of the HD trucks that showed up. I'm a member of NHTOC and we got a large group of HD owners there in the DFW area. They will make shows like that a chapter meet for the added fun of more cars etc. I'm always in Dallas my self but rarely in my Harley. I think the last gtg I did was the December toy run put on by the local Harley biker clubs. There was about 10 of us NHTOC ( Harley) guys there and about 10 more NLOC ( lightning guys). I'm actually trying to figure out some time to make a gtg soon...I'm totaly jonesing for some car action! There isn't muc of a car sence around here. We got tons of kick ass cars but you hardly see them together.

I'm sure you all know but it's being held by the Lone Star Buick Performence club. Anyhow, I plan on buying a T-type this Saturday and stopping by for a few hours.

a lil slow, engines out and torn down, gotta take the block in to kotzur and buy a bunch of stuff off a guy in austin to do the shortblock , he runs 9.60's at SAR

I cant remember his name, but he lives in schertz. He is the guy that had the green big block Chevelle with white stripes. I think I can get his number.
