any of you guys know?? ls1 or lt1 alternator? what fits

not sure if its an ls1 or an lt1 alternator that fits our engines. I need to replace my new alternator for a new alternator since its only putting out 11 volts max at wot. so I want to get one like my buddy's not sure if its
ls1 or an lt1 alternator..

anybody know??? need to know asap, thanks....

I believe that autozone sells the alternator for 93 or 94 chevy impala SS and it fits perfectly.

Call Jason Kramer at RJC, he is running a single wire 140 amp alternator that weighs about 5 lbs less then stock. He has the Summit part number.

I got an lt1 alternator from an lt1 type of guy yesterday. I'm on the way out to try it right now,I forgot I had it!! thanks jeff!! oh yeah, they are also 140 amp, i'm sure you saw the one on roberts engine, just was'nt sure what it was from.

oh man!! what have I been missing??
last night I put on a different passenger header because it has a different external gate than the hks one i've been running, and put on that lt1 alternator.. I guess the boost controller was at 22 psi or so.:biggrin:

whoa!!! I was riding up the hill on the 405 going south. I was in the slow lane doing about 100 mph, and had to slow down real quick before I hit a deisel.. was going about 40mph or so, got over and nail'd the gas.....eeeerrrrrrtttt, lit the tires I was thinking to my self,gosh damnnnnn, its never done that!! when I got to Inglewood, I was going down a open back street and got on it. No brakes, just about half throttle...oh my god my car really came to life, thank god I had the alky on! the boost comes up so quick, you dont have a chance to watch the gauge come up, just BOOM!! 1-2'nd, then stop sign I burnt about 5 gallons of gas today, and did'nt really go anywhere, but left some nice marks around the neighborhood I will sleep good tonight. thanks for the help guys, and the lt1 alternator fit perfect, 14 volts-13.8, full throttle w/system blasting
