Man you coming over here and trying to start a war doesnt really help at all. You need to grow up.

I dont belong to thirdgen.org nor will i ever join that board. Way too much BS. Same on this board. Only go to the NFTAC. The only reason I joined is to educate you fools. A few others we're gonna join me but they decided one person is enough. We heard a retarded arguement was happining here. We decieded to step and and set both you straight.

And don't tell me I dont know ****. I've been turning wrenches since i was 4. My neighbor and my father taught me everything. Maybe you heard of my neighbor, Mr Yunick? I am ASE certified in everything except bodywork. Got my first cert when I was 13( kinda helps when you know Old Smokey) Its also good that I'm on contract with the DoD as thermodynamics and aerodynamics researcher.

Oh, and i wasn't talking about the L98. It's a ****ty block in my opinion. I was speaking of a custom aluminum block from TRW. All custom. It's the only way to go.

Advanced technology, yea, maybe 15 years ago. Use a MAf? Why put that restriction in? Oh, becuase it can adapt to minor changes? Thats what computer tuning is for! Get reprogrammable ECM and your set. Oh, wait, I'm sorry, do you not understand how to program ECM's. Too bad.

Oh, and before you say "that will cost too much" Get education, get a degree and you can afford it. I can. Its your fault you people were stupid and didnt go to college and get degrees. Not my fault you can't afford to drop 40000 of your middle class wages like me. Oh, yea, I forgot, 40000 is kinda a bit a money for you.

Bye bye babies.

That was the most pathetic attempt at trying to "set us straight" Oh and how do you know who has what kinda education on this board? And im sure 40,000 is just chump change to you right? Shut up and grow up, this brings me back to elementary school, when its my dad can beat up your dad, and stuff lol. And there are plenty of people on the site that have gone DFI.

$40,000? Who is lucky enough to pay $40,000? I paid about $85,000 and I am still paying as a matter of fact. I am hoping to have my student loans paid off before my kids start school and I start paying all over again. I am also currently working toward my MBA. For someone who claims to be so educated and so well off you sound like an idiot.

Somehow having your dad and neighbor teach you everything you know qualifies you as some expert? My dog could become ASE certified too should he be working on my car as well?

So, you aren't a memeber of thirdgen.org and wold never join that board but you have like 2 posts on this board. So, how did you manage to find this particular thread to start spreading your sunshine if you aren't a memeber of either board? Why were you defending the Fbodies? You also chose to stir up a topic that had come to a rest. You mentioned the first time you pissed on your own and turned a wrench on your own. You never mentioned what elite University you graduated with honors from? Why leave out that part of your history? COuldn't make up a college quick enough?

That was seriously a WEAK attempt to "set us straight" I'm a fbody guy you tool..I've owned a few

As for not knowing anything...ok....I'm not gonna touch that one

So custom is the "only" way to go eh. It's a shame considering factory stuff has gone into the 11's lol.

You defend Fbody's and stuff yet you talk about doing custom **** like all aluminum TRW blocks and stuff...yeah um, right

Wow, I feel less of a man after your post, I've been "straightened"

If you can't post intelligent stuff, don't bother posting.

BTW some of the threads on TGO were a joke you dumbass. The only meaningful thread was the arguement on the 5-speed on a 3.85 and the whole load issue. So unless you have something to add to those 2 topics don't bother.

Later

and BTW, I didn't spend all that $$$ for my career.

<----looks at his wall at work, yep just about every state license for auto damage appraiser...:)

Bye bye babies.

Look its another "ASE Certified Mechanic" here to set straight all of us commonfolk. He makes broad generalizations about us... cause you know our midde class wages cant afford a thirdgen fbody like his...

And none of us know anything about computers here... maybe those people programming chips here dont know crap, how about the DFI guys... nope noone..

Wait but that means hes out engineered GM because HEY this new LS1 in my driveway has a MAF! In fact GM abandoned Speed Density back in 93 cause it SUCKED. I guess GM is wrong though, MAFs are dumb.

hey general, before you make generalizations think about the fact you dont know WHO youre talking to. Firstly that a significant number here are college educated, secondly most people here DO make a pretty damn good salary, becaus emaking minimum wage just aint gonna cut it with cars like these (but hey when I bought my first thirdgen I was working a minimum wage job). But hey you have to be making over 100k a year to work on a $2500 piece of brilliant GM engineering. BTW Ive owned 6 thirdgens including a TTA which would hand 99% of thirdgen cars their ass without HEAVY MODS.

Instead you turn this thread into a pissing contest by telling us all the things that you have on your resume as perfectly good reasons youre right. Well I bet my BS In Computer Science, my 15 State Insurance Licenses, and my Barber and SCCA Competition Licenses, that youre an Internet tough guy that doesnt know squat!!

Wow...so you have been breaking things for a long time huh.

Knowing Old Smokey doesn't do you a bit of good troll...if you know anything about an ASE cert then you know it requires two years of verifiable on the job work experience as a technician...at the age of 13 you see where I am going with this. Quit Lying..it only makes you look even more stupid....and as far as working for the DoD..we heard about you and we are sorry that you lost your janitorial job because of that security clearance issue a few weeks ago.

Anyone that has to brag about how much money they have..really doesn't have it. Any fool can see through your pathetic attempt for credibility. Trolls like you are a dime a dozen on the internet.

Holy crap you are an idiot. Did your degree consist of any English classes or maybe elementary grammar?

It won't do any good to argue with you but I just wanted to make sure that you knew that we all suspect that you are an idiot so I am expecting you to come back strong and remove all doubt...mmm kay??

It doesnt matter where you came from, according to the amount of posts and registered date, it's obvious you came from somewhere else to start trouble.

I'm still waiting to be "educated"

The point of THIS thread was to back me up with an arguement I had with some "know it alls" on TGO about turbos. So unless you have any comments about load, boost, why T5's suck with our motors you have nothing to add to our debate

So where's the info that you were gonna use to edgamacate us?

oh god, I started another war now on fbody.com. Everyone saying a manual is so much better, blah blah blah. I merely said an auto can better in some setups like mine. That got all the stick guys mad saying i'm stupid, that i don't know ****. That exhaust gas temp has NOTHING to do with turbo spool up lol

http://www.fbody.com/cgi-bin/dragrace/read.cgi?msgid=6393

There is the thread if anyone wants to read it, it's VERY long..my war is towards the end of the thread..I really didn't fire back with technical info because quite frankly I don't care lol

Tony,

Can't you ever play nice :D

No really, you should even bother replying anymore. Let one of them over there try it for themselves. Strap a turbo to a 305 or 350 and rev it to high heaven in neutral with the 5-speed to build boost. And once the engine blows up and they realize they can never get any boost without engine load, then jump in and say I told you so ;)

Nope! :D:D:D I'm done arguing that point forever, I even had Steve(tta850) come in, they still don't understand...whatever lol

Arguing on the internet is like the Special Olympics...win or lose...you are still retarded.

the charade is over

Sorry guys, I'm here to apologize. Sorry for my BS. It was all BS.

Hear me out. Here's the truth. I'm a freshman in college. I recieved an assignment in my technical communication class to illustrate how the internet is not a viable communication tool in relation to technical communication(or something like that). Basically the Prof wanted me to show that everything on the internet could be false and there is a lot of BS on it. So I proved it here in my BS posts. I followed turboscotts lead from his post on TGO(which honestly I am a senior member there), and made false posts.

I honestly have a lot of respect for GN's. My neighbor actually owned one, but had to sell it cuase he planned to get married(he actually got married Sept 12). He was 19 when he bought it. It was a great car, minor rust on the corner of the trunk lid, other than that it was mint.

I do own a '85 TA. Its a POS right now. Got tricked into a lemon and I've been paying ever since. Is my first car, bought it when I was 16. Now I've put in about 8000 into it in repairs and minor mods. I originally bought it for 2250. I have done the work myself in order to save cash. Rebuilt the tranny in May 2002. Replaced the heater core, cap, rotors, plugs, CTS, MAF, fuel pump, both struts, inner and outer tie rods, centerlink, idler arm, pitman arm, passenger ball joint, replaced the DS cause it was dented, replaced floor pan, replaced front bumper, hood, fender, both headlight motors/assemblies( car accident), put in hatch release, replaced injectors, rails, runners and plenum, replaced valve springs, removed AC, removed AIR tubes and smog pump, catback exhaust, new wiper washer system, rewired fans to toggle switch, rewired foglights, headlight motors( harness was hacked up in the accident) plus some more. As you can see I am not that stupid when it comes to fixing cars. I taught myself to do all this within 5 monthes( car started breaking 5 monthes after I bought it.) It still has problems, it still is a 305 but I plan on fixing that this summer.

Sorry for pissing you off, sorry for wasting your time. Please understand it was a assignment.

Sorry,

Matt
