So I just got back from a Goldwing ride to Death Valley National Park (we had 32 bikes and they do this ride every year on presidents day weekend). I have never been there but it is spectacular. Sat was a ride on the 190 through the park and Sunday we went over the hill to Lone Pine and ate in Bishop. All the time I was thinking of doing this trip with the GN. A lot of twisties and long straight roads. Temps were hotter then normal but they never got above 77 and a low of 40. We meet up in Beatty NV Friday night and stayed at the Motel 6. Maybe something to think about.
We started with 32 bikes and only 30 came home. No one seriously hurt but the bikes that went off the road and into the desert were toast.
