Any St Louis GN racers here?

Just wondering if anyone here will be racing at Gateway in St Louis this summer? Ill have my Gn ready this year, Im looking for some people to talk to at the track, lol.

There are quite a few in the area.
I'm an hour 20 north but plan on going to Gateway a few times this season. I usually go to Mason County Raceway (about 2 hours north of St Louis)

i'm from red bud IL about half an hour south of belleville, an hour south of stl, but you'll only see my car at car shows, no racin for me

Im originally from Cahokia, been in Bellehell since about 96. I bought my GN about a yr and a half ago. Last February, the timing chain went out, and it turned into a complete rebuild with GN1 alum heads, TE44, and all the other goodies. The engine is still on the stand, hopefully gonna put it in this weekend. Im looking forward to seeing you guys around, dont see many GN's on the street around here. IM still learning about these cars and saving money to finish it. Its primarily gonna be a street car, but i will have it at the track a few times.

If a group of you guys go there this summer can some one email me? Gateway isnt any farther away from me than the tracks I go to. It would be neat to race when there are other TB powered cars there. Do they shut you down for running to fast w/o a cage though?

I would imagine my oldest son will be there flogging the GN. It will be his anyway when he graduates from college this year so he can pay if it breaks! Hey Dan, you listening?

Postal, I Think 10.99 needs a cage.

NHRA now requires 6 point bar at 11.99. The part that sucks is that same bar makes you good all the way to 10.00. I have heard that NHRA is comming down on all the tracks to follow safety requirements alot tighter d/t insurance issues.
