+1 .. If you can't take your opponent down that really limits your techniques.
Brock is big, has a good sprawl, can throw dukes and should be able to stay out most submissions.

I am not sure I like that especially since he said that was to shut him up.
Hendo spanked him the whole fight, utter domination.

Yep heard about it on Yellow Bullet. Just seen Lesnar make hamburger out of Mir's face!!! Lesnar is an animal and quite frankly I still don't like him but he is one bad MoFo. Would love to see Fedor fight Lesnar, Dana needs to make it happen, that fight I would actually pay to watch!

Watching that fight it looked like Lesnar is not the best fighter by far in MMA but that power Them were tank bombs he dropped on cuzz

All the fights seem lopsided to me. Lesnar shoud destroy Mir, (unless mir pulls off a luck sub) If it makes it to the second round depends on how much of a beating Mir can withstand.

GSP should dominate as usuall.

Henderson Should destroy Bisping. Im guessing second round ref stoppage.

I should have bet some money on these fights.

Ya think???? I went outside the box and went for all the underdogs, thank goodness I never placed any bets on these fights.
Bisping must have one hell of a headache today. Dan says,"ya I knew he was knocked out but I just had to get one more in just to shut him up". That was epic. Looked like a Tito Santana flying forearm just for good measure. lol

Thiago just never got off. His cardio for the weight he came in at was extremely good despite being dummied all 5 rounds. I don't think he ever hit GSP. His face looked like a pound puppy when the fight was over (all closed and swollen)

Brock, I love it!!!boo me some more. I just might jump on the wife when I get home!!!!! Mir came in the fight in top shape, he looked extremely fit, just couldn't get off and ate some serious punches. Boy was Brock pissed.

Honestly, I wonder if there is any HW currently in the UFC that can compete with Lesnar. He is such a dominant fighter simply because of his sheer size/strength and athletic ability. His wrestling skills really help as well because he can take down anybody and then once he gets on top it's ground-n-pound time! Fedor is really the only one I see being able to beat Lesnar and Lesnar is probably the only HW I can see worth putting in the ring with Fedor. That fight would be HUGE like Rocky IV when Rocky Balboa fought Ivan Drago!:biggrin: Seriously, I think Brock is the real life American version of Ivan Drago from the movie, steroids and all! Fedor would be like Rocky because he is so much smaller than Brock (by about 80lbs) and yet Fedor has the experience on his side as he has fought and beat some of the best in MMA.
