I've been cleaning out my garage and selling stuff I'll most likely never use. My wife and I are thinking about moving in the spring. I have 3 torque converters taking up space. Two are from A4 transmissions that came in F-bodies and the original from my GN. I'm not trying to sell them here, just wondering if anyone in general would have a use for these or should they just go the curb. There's a guy that will come by and pick up anything metal you put on the curb. I don't think I've read a thread where someone is looking for a factory converter.

Someone may want one for a restall. I would guess you're probably limited locally as to who would buy them, and trust me shipping ain't cheap for one of these heavy beasts. I'm sure someone out there wants one. What about Craigslist?

The other night I decided to list a few things on craigslist for the first time. Seems like there's always someone trying to steal or scam. I've been getting these e-mails:

Here's the first one:

Here's the second one:

This is such a blanket e-mail they don't even have the courtesy to tell me what they're trying to steal!

You know, if I was approached by someone down on their luck I would give them stuff. No need to try to steal from me. I gave a kid a set tires one time I was selling because I could tell he needed them.

Check with vince at janis transmissions, I think your pretty close to them. He may take them off you.

That's a good idea, didn't even think about Vince. He did my transmission awhile back too.
