Any way to test a powermaster off the car?

My car's been converted to vacuum brakes, but the previous owner gave me the powermaster setup which he said still worked. Is there anyway to bench test the motor, accumulator ball etc so I know if this thing is worth keeping. (Which leads to jump to test motor etc.) Thanks
