I'm trying to find a reliable way to ship a stage block from southern California over towards my side of the country. If anyone is coming this way for the GS nationals, PM me if you would be willing to haul a block. Will pay.

Hey Mike,

dont know if it helps but when I sold and shipped my girdled block this is how i did it

cut a piece of wood just larger then the widest part of the block
took it to my buddies shop and used his band strap machine to strap block to the ply wood
then a couple layers of cardboard under plywood
couple of inches of foam and cardboard around sides and top
back to band strap and strapped box shut

ship FedEx from LA to Philly for $112

buyer was very happy when he received the block
