I sold this car to Boyd Coddington Jr. last year...
He turned around and sold it a few weeks/months later. I haven't seen or heard about the car since.

I was just curious if the new owner got it to the dragstrip or what's been done to it since ???

No idea, but damn, that thing was nice! Why'd you sell it, you idjit ?!!! :D

Have you tried to run a carfax on it? That is if you remember the VIN.

Yes, it was a nice car! Love that color!

I own the car now. I purchsed it the day before Easter last year. The car is amazing. The only thing that the car would benifit from is a better converter and to beef up the trans a bit. The car sits in my garage and gets taken out on an occasional cruise. I dont have alot of time for it as I just had a baby 8 months ago and work to many hours. I am looking to get a dragboat and if that happens i may be looking to sell the car, that is if the price is right!

Yeah... that trans could have been replaced when I sold it originally.
The best I managed to go in that car was 11.15 @ 121 on a small shot of nitrous. If the car had a transbrake and a fresh trans, I'm sure it would go into the 10's.
The best it went on the motor was 12.20's... but those were just "drive off the line", "zero boost launch" passes... I think 60ft's were in the 2.20's.

FWIW, the motor in that car came out of a low-mileage 87 T. I think it has less than 30,000 miles on it.

Let me know if you decide to sell it... I sold it to Boyd for $7999.00 on Ebay.

Any new runs down the track with it ?

Oh yeah I think I talked to you just after I got the car last year. All I have to say is OH DAMN you sold that car cheap if thats all you got  I know the guy I got it from with shipping and all was in it nearly double that, looks like someone bought it to resell it. Im not really sure what I am going to do. Not sure Id really want to part with it. The garage wouldnt look right without it!

I did take it to a track in Reno/Fernely last Aug for Hot August Nights. Drove it from Reno to Fernely which is about an hour or so drive. It launched really well but wouldnt shift at WOT so I let out of it and parked it as I was driving it back to town! Great car though, well built. I have plans to get that trans fixed soon so I can see what it will really do.
