Just wondering, i had to honk at some jackass tonight that cut over 3 lanes of traffic and was kind of embarrassed.... the car sounds healthy and strong and when i hit the horn, i thought i was in a corolla or something....

i really never use it but was wondering has anybody changed there horn out for another model cars horn... i'm not trying to put big ass train horns on but would entertain switching to a more suitable horn.

I put a second one with a slightly lower tone in line. Sounded like a horn from a 78 gran ville

Where can you get an old school Caddy Deville horn. Those sounded good back in the day.

From your description I'd say that one of your two horns has stopped working. Mine was the same way and it sounds terrible. Got another from a junked Caprice. My Cutlass also had the same issue but a tap on the dead horn with a wrench woke that one up.

Greg is right, when one of the two horns stops working they sound terrible. There are two, check which one is dead.

That makes sense.... their definitely is only one tone ....and it is terrible..... my wife even laughed at me.
I will investigate today ;)

Excuse my ignorance, and i am sure i can easily find it if i looked, but are both horns located together? [i haven't had my coffee yet]

Yes, ds front. Sometimes if you mess with the adjustment screw, it will start working again. Small adjustment, like iac. Lol
