anybody run 50/50 mix.

has anybody tried running 50/50 mix denatured alcohol and distilled water, and what result did you all get, i heard that running it like that you have less chances of detonation is there any truth to that, please post ur thoughts...

I've had best results running a 70/30 alky to water mix. Much better result than pure denaturated.

50/50 with a stock turbo and single nozzle usually = bog

I tried 60/40 and it bogged, so I went to 70/30.

You can do 50/50, but multi nozzle staged system would make it much more streetable.

At 50/50 it is hard to tune for part throttle. It may be fine at WOT but part throttle may suck

hey steve that makes a lot of sense.

my car has a 3.5k NL convertor and a TA60 turbo, it also spools like mad take about a second to go to full boost, i guess i will just have to play with the mix, last time i had 70/30 mix and the car seemed to responde really good, it also responds well to full denatured alky., at WOT with the 70/30 mix i hit 25psi and 02's in the 790 range with 2.8* of knock i guess that is not bad considering we have the ****ty 91octane here in california, i am pretty sure with the 100% alky it will be zero knock but i am trying to make the alky last a bit longer by adding the water to it.. btw this is with a 18* chip.
