SignUp Now!i'd say they were more than slightly lighter than a Thunderbird of the same vintage..I've heard of the Fairmont LX but never this. Being as they were slightly lighter than the Thunderbird, I see no reason the car couldn't be made to boogie.
It weighs almost the same as the Mustang. It's based on the Fox body platform so anything you can bolt on to a 79-93 Mustang will work on this car as well. Many Ford fans like to find a plain jane 2 door sedan Fairmont and make it a sleeper.
