i was just going to let you'll know you can go fast with one...see sig.

Terry houston recomends 3 1/2" d/p on anything over 500 hp but my mph and car weight is showing right at 600 hp and its not even 3" :confused:

im about to go 3" but other changes will be happening at same time so i wont be able to see dirrect change difference.
 
I just pulled mine off last month to put my Mease DP on. I thought the Hooker pipe was great as it did not hit any part of the frame nor did I have to reshape it with a large hammer (Like my current pipe). The only problem I did have was severe boost creep the the Deltagate. Even had it rebuilt and still had excessive boost creep. Probably should have bought a Racegate, but went for the Mease. Finally have set the Mease set where it doesn't hit anything and cause timing retard.

It's been on my car about 10 years now. Back when I got it, along with the headers & exhaust system, I don't believe there were many other down pipes offered.

I've since ditched the headers but the Hooker downpipe and exhaust are still going strong.
 
cool i was wondering cause you never hear talk of them on here..but be too old fashioned for some.

my deltagate works great ... i thought about rebuilding it but it works too good to mess with.. i have added a second spring in it to allow for high boost since i couldnt get over 22# with it beffore and i use a air compressor regulator to set the boost from inside the car.

i have a atr sticky puck pipe 3" that i bought when it was just to shot to fix anymore and im either making it external to use my deltage or going to blck the gate hole off and move the deltage to the cross over...havent realy desided yet
