Anyone ever notice the High speed fan blows sideways!

I have had my high speed fan wired to a switch in the car and always assumed that air blows directly on the motor..... Not in my case! Seems like the fan blows aire sideways toward the power steering pump.

This is without the shroud.


Anybody else experience this?
