Looking for pro's/con's...400 is an option, but I would hate to lose the overdrive. I haven't ruled out the 2004R, but the cost is pretty extravagant to get one to live up to 450 hp....

I would give Brian on this board a try. His trannies seem to handle the abuse for cars running in the 10's.

Sean,
For 450hp you really do not not need anything that pricey/extravagent.
In a trans in this level prices are not all that bad. Shoot me a pm or email.

Thanks Mike for the props!:D

At 450 HP, about the only thing that you would keep breaking on a regular basis is the shaft on the forward clutch drum (hope I have that right).
It's what I kept breaking when I was racing, and I just got the good billet piece, and one or two others and the tranny has now lived for almost 10 years with the good parts, and steady racing in the late 90's with a HARSH locking 7 disc TCC!!!
