Anyone ever receive wrong parts from ATR??

I just received the single shot i ordered early this week and there no tailpipe??? theres some other very wierd shaped pipe that has nothing to do with a TR exhaust. I caled them and they said theres no way they could no if its wrong, so i sent them about 5 pics of it via email. then they said they'll try to get back to me about it next week sometime. what the hell is that crap? i spend $400 on exhaust and they cant even correct the mistake. im not mad that its wrong, but at least correct the problem.....wondering if this has happened to anyone else....

I have never gotten the wrong parts, but anytime I have had an issue the customer service has never been as good as what you are getting now :( . If they offer to charge you for the right parts and ship them and credit you when the wrong ones are returned I would be leary. That is the scam they used to whack me for an extra over-priced cam.

In 1994 i bought there headers and that's what they told me when i called and said they do not line up to the ports AT ALL........."we have never heard of this problem"
Then i express shipped them to get fixed with the aggreement they would express ship them back.
Anyway upon inspection i am told ''they were out a tad''.......yah ok.

Pi**ed me off when they ground shipped them back.

Needless to say those headers are LONG GONE and were replaced with Kenne Bell headers which were flawless and NEVER leaked!
 
You paid with a credit card, I hope. If so, call ATR back up and tell them that you are going to dispute the charge with the credit card company if they don't correct the problem to your satisfaction.
If that doesn't work, then call the card company and explain that the supplier sent the wrong parts and was giving you the run-a-round with correcting THEIR mistake.

thanks black car, i will do that...i paid with a credit card. it just annoyed me when they said "Theres no way we could have sent the wrong parts". its obvious they did, theres no tailpipe!!!! anyway, ill see what happens, but i certainly will not pay them for a new one first, its their mistake, they should fix it
 
FWIW...I've never had a problem with ATR and I have bought quite a bit of stuff from them.

I am curious as to whose headers people are using if they're not using ATRs. I can't imagine the Kenne Bells are available, I haven't heard too many good things about Postons or Hooker.

The wrong part they sent you belongs on the crossflow system. I know this cause i remember fighting that pipe for hours when I had one. :rolleyes:
