I don't think the T-Type was a model or maybe an option in 87. Just like there are no 87 T-Type Regals. Notice the little "T" emblem on the fender? Yep same Touring Suspension option with all the geegaws of the Y56 option on the Regal. Every model of Buick in 87 could be had with the "T" touring option. Even the four door and wagon models. I show there were 2,878 Century Custom coupes and 4,384 Century Limited coupes built in 1987. This car has a digital dash which is almost unseen in the Centurys.

The parents of a friend of mine had one when we were in high school. We graduated in '87.

I pulled a steering wheel out of one and sold it.:D

Somebody probably thought they were ordering a Regal. Then that thing showed up.

Somebody probably thought they were ordering a Regal. Then that thing showed up.

It was an exactly the same but the color was more red than the T's burgandy which was explained. Never came back.:)

looks like the same lesabre t-type package, it has the same shifter/center console as the lesabre t-type. and the small badges

a friend's dad back in high school had a ttype lesabre (fwd) had leather and all the bells and whistles. Kind of a cool lookin car for something a grandmother would drive. Another friend just picked up a 2 door century for 400 bucks. 125k on it and doesn't look too bad.

That looks fun! Post some more info, inquiring minds want to know.:)

"no Hillbilly molestation has occurred(sorry hillbillies)." Funny :D but most of those cars were molested by "hillbillies"
