all the sealer in the world won't hold in the boost unless the head is clamped down really good- and there just aren't enough head bolts to properly clamp the head down on a stock Buick V6.
i'd think that a sealer might help to keep the water out of the combustion chamber immediately after things blow out, but won't really do much to stop the gasket from blowing out around where it seals the combustion chamber.
