Buying something new an thinking about one!!I drove one an the new CVT tranny is hard to get used too.. For those who don't know its like a tranny with one gear you never feel it shift..

I have a Murano. Second one we've owned actually.

The CVT is weird at first but after a while you won't even notice.

Nissan makes excellent vehicles, can't dispute it. I also have a Titan.

The wife took the Murano in for service and they gave her a Maxima to drive. Now she wants one.

How's your gas mileage witht he Murano?? Wife wants a Murano but I like the Maxima.. Mainly cause the Max is faster an sleeker looking.. She likes the room of the Murano. She knows about Nissan quality she has a 94 Pathfinder with 318,000 miles.. The new silver max Se's are just awesome looking , I'm caught between silver an there white pearl color. Fav color is blk but like GN's washing all the time gets old..

Gas mileage is very good. Actual # 's , I'm not sure. That 3.5 is a sweet motor. It has won some awards, I know that. Excellent in the snow with computer controlled 4 wheel drive.

The Murano is based on the Altima platform so it rides almost like a car and not a truck. We went to the dealer to drive a Pathfinder and after we drove the Murano, it was an easy choice.

I would prefer the Maxima but with a 6 month old and a 120lbs German Shepard the SUV just makes more sense.

Ford Freestyle Debuted with that transmission too. A guy I work with has one and says it was really werid to drive at first.
