I have a 1992 LT1 Corvette, and I have been trying to fix a timing issue with my fast since last November, and I was wondering if any of you other guys have ran into this problem. My FAST is retarding my timing more the further the engine is revved. At 4k i am getting 9 to 10 degrees of timing retard. This is with the factory opti, and factory ignition parts other than a msd coil. It also misses/pops and bangs out under a load. I can plug my factory computer back in and it runs like a charm all the way up to 7k which is the limit of the LT1 computer. I have adjusted the inductive delay every way possible with no results...... Any ideas that you guys have would be appreciated.
BTW I did load in 30 deg of timing across timing table in the FAST and the motor was getting 20-21 degrees of timing at 4k. So this is 9-10 degrees of retard.
