Anyone have a 20 bolt timing cover??

Hey guys,
I am trying to get a bunch of parts together to try to minimize the downtime on the 86 GN. Therefore, I need a timing cover in good condition so I can install the HV oil pump that I have onto it. I can give you my original timing cover once I pull it off. I have another 20 bolt cover but, it has some damage. Im fixing to replace the timing chain and valve springs. Let me know.

I have a timing cover that you can use. I don't have the original gears. I can send it to you and you could deliver the cover to my parents house once you finish with it. I really don't suggest using a HV oil pump, but to each his own. Use a standard volume pump, match the passages and install a stiffer relief spring. My experience with a HV pump is all my cam bearings began to walk out of the journals. Let me know what you want to do. I have a cover.

Thanks for the offer!! I dont want you to have to go through the hassle of shipping one down so Ill try and hold off to see if anyone else may have one. If not, than Ill let you know.

P.S. I haven't had any problems with the HV pump before and hope that I never do. Sorry to hear about yours.

Derek, I still have my 20 bolt cover available if you got a 14 bolt cover, we can just trade. Let me know.

Ok, thanks John. Im gonna go look for that cover as I think I had at least two 14 bolt covers laying around. Ill give you a call when I get it.

According to Marc at snyders it beyond repair.....but I recon you can give it a shot as long as paul does'nt want it back

Derek, did you ever get a step down hose for the big neck intercooler? If so, from where?

I got the hose from Geoff who had a spare laying in his trunk. I think ramchargers sells them for a reasonable price though.

No problem John. Actually, Geoff himself didn't know that he had one until he was emptying his trunk one night for racing and Guy spotted it. I was very lucky to be there at that time!!
