OEM K&N Air filter.
Any numbers/results with the replacement filter?
Since this is a "restoration", I would like to keep the OEM intake.
Either way, if you have a good used one in good conditon, PM me.

Gary,

Thanks. The filter is easy to find actually and not bad.
Got to https://www.kirbanperformance.com/index1.htm
Search for PN 6537
Price is $29.95

Just thought maybe someone had one and it was not big enough to meet their goals.

While I realize that the OEM filter box may need to be modified, my question is in the flow aspect, i.e. performance findings.
Specifically, does the OEM replacement K&N air filter flow enough air to feed a TA33?

Is the OEM replacement K&N the same filter listed in the Recipe's?
Does anyone know?

Jerry,

Cannot help with the air flow spec's you are looking for. Someone else who has done these mods will hopefully read this and answer you. If not just start a new thread or contact K&N and the turbo mfg and get the spec's for both and see if they match up.

wellmy car has picked up mph from going to a larger cone k&n with a ta33 so it may be ok but at some point i think the stock air box would be to restrictive for the turbo not the filter
