sorry guys , i know this is not buick related ( the buick's running great )

the F@#king problenm is my 04 Lincoln Navigator it's got only 50k miles,
and now the dam air suspenssion is not working, i've checked the fuses in the car and their good, i ust don't know where the compresor (?) is so that i can check it, man i thought the buick was stressful:rolleyes:

thanx for any help.

If the vehicle was just serviced it may be the air suspension switch that is just turned off.

This was taken from all data: WARNING: The electrical power to the air suspension system must be shut off prior to hoisting, jacking or towing an air suspension vehicle. This can be accomplished by turning off the air suspension switch located in the LH rear quarter trim panel. Failure to do so can result in unexpected inflation or deflation of the air springs, which can result in shifting of the vehicle during these operations. If equipped, turn the air suspension switch to the OFF position.

Hope this helps

The air/suspesion compressor is located at right front of the engine compartment, bolted down on sheet metal in front of RF inner fender liner. The front fastener of the comp. bracket is bolted to the radiator core support.
Hopefully, the switch is just turned off.
If not, what are the symptoms: ride height high/low? Front or rear low?
Common failures are: Electronic relay or connector failure.
Air leak from front upper strut mounts.
Door ajar or rear glass ajar concerns.
If it is more than just the switch not turned on, it would be a LOT simpler if this was a Ford Expedition.
Let us know.
Mike.

hay twin and hogan, thanks for the help, the electrical was ok, so was the compressor, and the on-off switch was on.

i finally got the truck to rise by putting a hydrolic jack under the front of the car and jacking it up, at first nothing happened but about 10 minutes later it began to rise, , thank god!!! what it was , my guess -is it has a height sensor so -some how jacking it up fooled or made the sensor activate?

anyway thanks again

Most problems are mechanical, not electrical/electronic.
Saying that however, there are updated height sensors for a certain build date; will need your VIN # to find out.
So, the front was low? One side only? Front & rear both low?
I suspect a weak compressor, or low battery voltage.
Weak compressor will run excessively, and can "time out" due to overheating.

Let me know if you need some parts for it, my brother was shipped the 2wd compressor and bags when his went out. His was 4wd so these things are still sitting in boxes.

2wd compressor can be used on 4wd by using the old drier.
1 air line vs. 2 air lines.
Ford no longer sells the drier by itself.
