I'll be upgrading my dp soon and I'm thinking about installing a breather on pass side while my up/dp's are off. The 86/7 cars easily have the ability to run breathers on valve covers on both sides. Our turbo configuration makes it a little more difficult. I would think 2 breathers are better than one, especially with a turbocharged engine. I like the look of the stock valve covers. I was thinking about just getting another driver side, and doing the short angled stand-off with the k&n that gbodyparts sells. There should be plenty of room for it under the uppipe. Have any of you done something like this? Is it even a good idea to have a breather so close to the heat of those exhaust pipes? any input is greatly appreciated.

Im not sure if you could run it or not, but maybe you could also try a passenger side valve cover off of an intercooled car and see if you could put it one way or the other and have a breather up front or out back and a good deal away from the heat of the up and down pipes.

the pass side from 86/7 car definetly wouldn't work. (I've got a 86 t and 87 gn.) It might if I deleted ac and modified the alt/ac bracket. but I want to keep ac.

TB3- The passenger side breather is not necessary. I will show you in person. You do need a get rid of the 84/85 breather setup. Brad

breathers

I run 2 breathers. One on each side, MR Gasket valve cover breathers. Summit racing MRG-2056 (8.95 ea.) Can stand up to the passenger side exhaust heat.
