The local shop that did my mandrel bent stainless 3" single out is interested in possibly doing more if there was an interest. I know a lot of guys that run the dual 2.5s...but I was curious if there was a market for 3" single out exhaust?

Is this from the cat back?
What is the estimated cost and ETA?

Jason has a bender in house. The name of the shop is Arkansas Performance Exhaust...used to be Razorback Exhaust. He's testing the waters because now that he has the bender and the jigs, it's an area of great possibility. I'll call him tomorrow and post here. Yes, he's talking cat back. I had a THDP on my car. There are other GN's local...some with stock exhaust that he can check out too. I'll post more info.

I'm interested in 3 in !

please post your findings, as alot of guys are watching,
thanks

All stainless...catback

3" $175 + muffler of your choice
3.5" $200 +muffler of your choice
4" $250 + muffler of your choice

He sells more brands of mufflers than I know about, but I know he has Borla, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, and Spintech.

A.P.E.'s number is 501-833-3551 (ask for Jason, tell him you read about it on turbobuick). Their fax # is 501-753-7859.

address:
Arkansas Performance Exhaust
3915 East Kiehl Ave
Sherwood, AR 72120

to the mods...I really didn't intend this to be a spam or infringe upon any sponsors...I just haven't seen any 3" catbacks other than APR and never anything bigger.

don't forget...you're adding the cost of the muff. to that. I also figure you're adding shipping on top of that.

I called and talked to him, seems like a nice guy but the prices posted are for aluminized, add $100 for SS and $150 for a Magnaflow.

I figure it like this,if MBRP can make 4" turbo back exhaust systems(dp and all) in SS for any diesel truck(ALOT more tubing and bigger tubing)for $430,were getting RAPED by every exhaust vendor out there.JMHO

Id buy from A.P.E. for the simple fact that things get damaged an awful lot when coming from ATR.And I think it is there fault for using UPS(they suck)

I'm sorry...I've been on the phone back and forth trying to clear things up...my bad...still, adding $100 for stainless makes that 3.5 and 4" price awesome still.

Just got off the phone with MBRP and they will make us 3.5" or 4" with DP if we get enough buyers.

Price will blow anyone else out of the water.$100's less if we can get the buyers and they will stock it on there shelves afterwards.

Theyre located in Canada so wed have to get someone to drop there GN off, preferably with ATR headers;)

Sorry for the hijack but im sure we all want to save some serious $$ on our dp's/exhaust systems.

I'm in for a 3.5" SS as long as it fits right to my 3.5" THDP. They have a website or email address?

Hum

I just built a 4" single for my car using S.S. 90's an 45's an about 4 Ft. of S.S. piping an there was not really anything to it.. I just used a 3x4 adapter off the DP an fitted it all together. I didn't like the idea of running it over the axle so we just came straight back under an came up with a chrome 90 an then a chrome 45 swinging out for the tip from there.. Thought it would look like crap when we started but in the end its one of the sweetest things about the car.. Oh yea the hardest part was not building the exhaust but getting it hung under the car using rod stk.. With the 4' bullet muff. an everything I got about 250 in it.. Some said it could not be done but really just a matter of fitting an cussing an some more cussing then its done.. :D So as not to hi-jack the post that is a good deal..
