anyone live in tacoma?

i was talking to one of my retailers today and she mentioned how corrupt the local goverment is. she mentioned the mafia, i was kinda taken by this comment. some times in the health and fitness industry the retailers tend to be a bit *off* so i dont know how true this is. i am now very curious. can anyone shed some light on this for me?
