Anyone play Forza motorsport?

I'm talking about the original, for the regular X box.

Yeah, its an old game.
My roommate and I have been going back and forth on it for months trying to set a faster lap time on the long Fujimi Kaido hillclimb track using the D class (slowest) cars.

I believe we have reached a level of speed on this course that has probably never been matched by mere mortals.

Using a bone stock Gen 2 rx7 with the running start the current time to beat is 5:35.2 (set by me, today... he'll probably beat it tomorrow)

If any of you have the game, dust it off and give this a shot. I'm wondering if we really are as good as we think we are. Use the rolling start.. i.e. instead of going on the last light, hit reverse and back way up till you cant back up anymore (theres a row of cars blocking the road)

anyway I know it's a longshot that any of you have it but the curiosity is killin' me

Should be able to find current high scores online somewhere. Trust me, no matter how good you think you are, there's always someone who's a million times better. Every time I think I'm good at a game, I check the XBOX Live Online rankings and realize I'm nowhere close.

i have forza2 on the xbox 360 i was really disapointed with the gnx no matter what you do to it its still slow, my favorites are my s class 69 charger and my u class gt40 but most people cry when i pull it out, i can beat most u class with my charger.

hehe, funny you should say this.. the only place where i found anyone post about this was some kid talking about his best time being a 5:55...

I wish there was some kind of database for this. I really think we are pretty good


How is the online play with forza 2? that seems like it would be pretty fun.

I think the Gen II RX7 is the best car in forza 1... it handles (to me) very much like a real car

Ok, just did a search and found a huge database on the actual Forzamotorsport homepage (go figure)

The fastest time up that track in the D class is using a crx and its an insane 4:59

however
the fastest time up that track in a Gen II rx7 is:
"ZO6fan 00:05:38.220* RX-7 Gen 2"

Which makes my current time, the best in the known world for the GenII Rx7

Hahahah *maniacal laugh*

and I know with some better driving I can drop maybe another 5 seconds off this time (if I can put all together on one run instead of bits and pieces)
