anyone run a scanmaster

Does anyone have a scan master, i was thinking about getting one . Are they good scan tools and how do they work . I've never seen one before are they small , My wife said its ok if i spend my money to get one , you know how that goes.

Thats what i run is the 87 ecm and maf, jl93 and 110 chips.



I need to see what this car will do before the track closes so i need the scan tool.

Does anyone have a scan master iam try to find out if there good scan tools or not , what they wil tell me and what they look like . they are little right. Wil they tell me every thing i need to no to tune my car and how do they hook up , wired to the ecm or the ALDL.

The SM box is about 2" long, and about 1" high...they get wired in with a power, and ground wires...and then the signal wires goes into the diagonistic port of the ALDL. (top row...2nd pin over from the left)



They are great for tuning, and are not as bulky as a big lap top...I have my scanmaster resting on top of my dash so its easy to watch the road as well as Scantool while haulin' ass!

Thank buddy i'll think i'll get one real soon before the track closes. I would love to try my race chip and see what it can do when its tuned and has some new brakes.

Most guys swear by the scanmaster! Size is 4" long x 1" high x 3-1/2" deep, and they fit nicely on the top of the dash!

Thanks small is better. What does it tell you about your car , does it only tell you o2's and knock or does it tell lots more. I want a scan tool thats going to tell me alot about my car so i can tune it to its best.

By the way the stuff you make looks great maybe when i get some money in the winter i'll be calling yea. Keep up the good work.

ATS (Air Temp sensor)
LV8 (engine load kinda)
CLT (coolent)
BLM's (block learn)
MPH


I think thats it...but there might be a few I forgot.
