The boattail treatment on the 09 Wildcat just doesn't work on that car. Instead of looking like a boattail Riv it looks like a mid-year(64-67) Corvette.

Its time to face the facts. What ever Buick rolls out in the future just aint going to be a Buick. With out a signature engine its just a Caddy or Chevy on LCD. Its a shame that the 3800 is in its last year of production. Its a bigger shame when the only car that uses the 270HP SC3800 is a Pontiac! What happened to Buicks MoJo?

It sounds like the next Buick models will come out of China (Autoblog story on LaCrosse coming from China's design team). If I'm not mistaken, Buick is pretty big in China. Meaning that you can kick any idea of a musclecar from Buick to the curb. Chevy will import all of Holden's designs, and Buick will import from the China design team.

And the Gran Sport name shouldn't be reused on that car. If anything, the Riviera name fits much better with the design. It does look like they took the Camaro concept and grafted a '64 Corvette tail on it though.
