I actually oversaw development of those components many moons ago, like early '90s. My old GN was the test rat. They were originally done for in-house recalibration of common 2004R cores into BRF equivalent units for the Street Fighter transmission line. I recall doing the lo-detent valve and sleeve, 1-2 throttle valve, sleeve and spring & 2-3 throttle valve, sleeve and spring. At the time they were coupled with NOS BRF governors as they were still readily available and this stuff worked well. We also made replacement blue governor springs which I think are still available.

So this just might be what people need to upgrade the lesser valve bodies. I was told by mike Kurtz that brf was machined differently. I found that hard to believe, but could see that the sleeves and springs would be different. I guess I'm going to have to save up and try one of these kits out.
