Anyone use the CAT connecting rod?

Theyre on ebay for $279 for a forged H beam with ARP bolts.Im sure Mike Licht can get em as well.A few years ago I did hear about CAT forged I beams folding over in some circle track apps....

I used them in a little 347 stroked N/A mustang I used to have. I never had any problems with them at all. I ran one of thier stroker cranks with probe forged pistons. It was a very strong motor. The one thing I did do was swap the rod bolts for some ARP's, so I would figure that into the cost. They have a rod bolt in them that looks like an arp, but unless it says it go with them. call it insurance!!:biggrin:

CAT has now switched to ARP bolts in all their rods.
