There's some really weird stuff on that channel.

I think you need to be in an "altered state" to watch Metalocalypse and that sick prison cartoon they used to have on very late night.

Furturama and Aqua Teen Hunger Force are great however.

None of them beat Rocko from the 80's however. :biggrin:

Rocko's modern life, if thats what your talking about, was definately a great cartoon. But the stuff on Adult Swim is supposed to be a little strange which is why it's on late at night so it's not that bad. My beef is with the acid trip shows they have now-a-days that are on in the mornings and afternoons specifically for little kids. I mean have you ever seen YO Gabba Gabba, or the teletubbies? Some of these shows freak me out way more than anything on AS.

you don't need to be in an "altered state" to watch Metalocalypse- but you do need to be a true old school metalhead to get most of the jokes. that show is just so over the top awesome, especially now that they gave them a full 1/2 hour to play with instead of just a 15 minute block. the new episodes are just so much more "big" than the first couple of seasons. the one about Skwisgaar Skwigelf (the lead guitar player) being a true god with no earthly father was almost epic.
