ANyone willing to put their car up on pinks?

So how do they get around the gambling laws that every state, even Nevada has in place. i do not think there is a state in the union where you could legally bet your car.

I think thats why the cars are signed over to the host first, they are very clear about that. Then the winner gets both cars, like a prize.

There have been at least a few chitown guys on there.

I would love to see who was on---Im assuming there were pretty fast cars, but do u know any of the names and when they were on.

Guys @ work last nite said that a guy was suppost to race his GN but he blew it up on the Dyno!!! They talk like this happen in the last show!! Maybe last week. But remember the source "guys @ work">.. So I can't really be sure.. From what I hear lately there has been a lot of junk on there racing..

That is what they said at the begining of the pinks show. The guy (Alex?) built a GN and it blew up. He built another one and it blew up on the dyno. He bought a f-body the night before the taping of the pinks show. The other guy that he was there to race said "no way man, I came here to race a GN"...

I am not sure, but I thought I saw a GN on the trailer in the back...

i believe thats how this thread started. there was another thread about the show. dont know about the one they blew up, but the one they had at the track that night did run, but was breaking up at high rpm. so they picked up that camaro. the guy they raced did at first say that he came to race the GN, but he eventually said yes and raced the camaro and got beat. aparently the camaro is a low 8 second car.

Not quite that fast,It had been a best of 9.20s at 150.But i think they upped the Nitrous a little
It is an SB2 Headed small block

The camaro had been a best of 9.80 @140 on motor
and a best of 8.86@154 on partial nitrous pass
Pinks was the first time they shot it out of the hole
