I'm wondering about stall speed and max hp. The precision site says 750hp but doesnt list a BB vesion but I know there made. Any comments I looking to run a max 3500-3700 and 750-900 hp and not have lag. Street/strip car. BTW its a 231 with 9.5CR.

The ball bearing version of the GT40 will not be available from Garrett for several months they say...supposed to be an awesome setup but right now we can't sell it...it would support about 750-800 net horsepower

The reason I ask about the R version is that the girl who drives the FWD honda in the pro class Crubough or somthing is her name sais she runs one. Maybe a prototype? What do you think about stall speed.

yes it is a prototype...it's not available to the public at all right now...it should be available in the next couple months...IF we were to do one for a Buick...and that's a big if...stall speed requirement might be 2800-3000 since it being ball bearing

Update?

Howdy,

Any update on the availability of the GT40R and its cost?

Thanks,

Where you at Don?

Percision got any inside line on getting these out to the public?

Hi guys. To be honest, we got some units in recently but they are not intended to be for the Buick community. I don't know if in fact we will do one for a Buick but I will definitely put my recommendations in as I would LOVE to have one of these on my personal car! We have to wait until Garrett READILY supplies us this turbo because I would hate to say "yeah we can do that!" and then Garrett doesn't ship us components for 6 months...but them sending us some more of these units is indeed a good sign. I'll keep you posted if I come across anything. We are always striving to advance current products and offer more options for everyone so bare with us! Thanks.
