My brake's got very hard to push the other day. I put another brake switch and ball and pump on it from another part's car and they will work sometimes now but normally they will only work after I hit WOT for a second, The brake light will come on and I can hear the pump running and for a little bit I'll have good brakes. Then they will get hard again? Anyone ever had this problem?

Oh yeah, sounds like your master is about to fail. I've been through two of them, one on warranty through some local buick freaks. If this one goes again, Im swithing to vaccuum brakes.

Be careful.....it's real hard to stop when it kicks out completely.

Don' these moody cars have a funny way of saying "happy holidays?"

Chris:rolleyes:

Thank's for the info, I may go ahead and switch myself. Somebody already told me on here the other night to go ahead and switch it out to vaccum. Does the vaccum brakes work ok with the turbo or do you have to put some kind of pump on it?

i have vacuum brakes and they work fine. just be sure you get the tta vacuum block and you will be fine.:D

The TTA vacuum block for the top of the throttle body is identical to the GN one except it has an extra port for the vacuum line to the power booster. These replacements are made in worry-free aluminum. Most all vendors carry them.
