Are 30 splines enough for 10's ???

I remember about last year that Jack Cotton ripped up his stock
rearend w/cclips, But he was running low 10s at the time.
I also witnessed a 15s 85 monte carlo rip his rear end up and it was all stock with cclips and posi. The wheel well was messed up and the trunk had a big ding in it. So it can happen anytime 15s-10s

I'm planning on the safe way going non cclips with 30spline eaton posi, 30 spline moser axles and T/A girdle cover.

Are any of you going low 10's on a 30 spline Eaton posi?

I am using 30 spline Mosers (with Ford ends) and up until a couple of weeks ago an Eaton posi......the side gears went away

now have a spool

the posi will hold for a while, but not forever with 1.4 60's and 3700 lb car

(Nick's 9 sec car has 30 spline Mosers......but no posi...spool)

I guess my recommendation would be a spool if not a heavy street use car....although I drive mine to the track no sweat (100 mile round trip)

I am. Eaton posi with Moser 30 spline axles w/ cclips.
