Are Felpro 1200 gaskets thicker than the 96033?

With my new heads the intake sits a little lower on the ports. I was wondering if the 1200 was thicker? And also, how do the port sizes compare between the 1200 and 96033?

And I know someone will bring this up, if I use the 1200 I plan on welding a splash shield over the PVC hole.

The 1200 is .050 thick and the blue vally pan is .035 The ports are a little bigger on the 1200s If you dont want to do any welding automotive machine & performance has a pan that covers the vally and you use rtv on the end rails. There # is 888-624-3848

disco stu, Im just wondering if you got that valley pan? If you did can you let me know how it fit? I need something since my heads and intake are ported to 1200's. Thanks

It works great. Fit is good. When I looked at it I could not believe I did not think ot that it was so simple. But hell, it was worth the $35 just to get it from someone else. Another plus is no oil can spray over the top of a valley pan gasket from the oil return. I never had that problem but it is an issue I have seen others have.
