Are my airbags worthless?

I just got a set off air-lift airbags and sofar I can't get my tires to hook any better with them. In fact, I seem to get better traction out of the hole with 0psi in both. What's the trick to these things. Is there a good method for to tuning them? I started at 6psi left and 16psi right and tried slight changes and could't get any change out of them. I have boxed lower control arms, snubber, air bags on Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials. PLEASE HELP!

Try 6psi right and take the left one out.
You want to plant the tires evenly and this seems to be the consensus.

What setup?

I started to look for another sway bar but I was starting to doubt if it was worth it at close to $500 for the HRparts&stuff bar. Is it worh it? Should I be thinking about upper control arms first? Does anyone know who makes the best set of upper and lower arms?

What I'm really looking for is a good suspension setup capable of supporting ~1.5 60ft times. My best 60' is 1.786
