Are the abs bumper fillers any good?

I agree. Had to replace both on my 86, the fiberglass ones are nice and sturdy and cheaper. The abs ones are flimsey

I've heard nothing but horror stories about the ABS and fiberglass fillers for fitment and needed finish work.

Go with fiberglass. Have installed them on all of my previous TB's (3 of them) with no issues.
