Are there any nice clean bathing rivers near Temple PA??

I am Going to Temple PA with the Family to visit family and would like to go to a river and go for a swim with the kids.
Also i am willing to drive an hour or so from Temple as long as its a nice spot.

anybody been to Blue Marsh Lake?
Is it a nice place to go with the family?

Blue Marsh is nice. It's like several other flood control dams in eastern PA. Beltzville, Nockamixon (near Dennis Kirban) etc. Lots of recreation. Water level varies throughout the year. They do have a website.
