I purchased test drive, project gotham and midnight club 2...none of them have a GN in them...does anyone know other then the one on this sight. If there are any xbox games that have a GN or will allow you to custom make one?

Need for Speed 4 for the PC... it's pretty oldish, I think theres been 2 or 3 need for speed games released since 4, but heck, i'm going to look for my cds.

That said, midtown madness 2 also has an addon gn car.. you could always make your own for other games.

On a side note, midtown madness 2 is pretty bad..

If anyone knows of a PS2game with a GN I'm sold let me know
this way I can play it in my truck :D

You weren't missing much with the later versions of Need for Speed. #6 sucked. Graphics were ok, but the simulation was awful. Only driving game I've ever played that made me physically ill from motion sickness.

Speaking of games that let you create your own cars, this one is free, and the graphics are amazing:

I *think* most of the need for speed games are also available on psx or ps2, BUT you couldn't install the 3rd party cars.. kind of defeats the purpose.

I played NFS6 on Dreamcast. Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 was a much better DC game all around. Heck, SegaGT was better, even if it was kinda easy.

Of course, none of them compare to Rallysport Challenge on X-Box.

The only "Need for Speed" game that was good was the first, for both Playstation and PC. Yes, the graphics sucked by todays standards, but the behavior of the cars was REALISTIC. After that, you had the cars getting to 180mph in 4 seconds, Caprice cop cars blowing past Lamborghinis at 160, ect.

In the first game, the Porsche 911, Acura NSX, Toyota Supra, Corvette ZR-1, Lambo Diablo, and Ferrari had speed characteristics that were like the real cars. I guess they changed it on the later games to get a more "arcade" feel, but I liked the realism.

GT3 for the Playstation is an awesome game, very realistic, but I just don't like driving games that are on racetracks. Beating the clock to get a "license" and such, I would rather have the game based on roads.

In GTA Vice City there are some cheet codes that give you certain 'special' cars. One looks ALOT like a TR. Its in a stock car paint job and is one of the fastest and best handling cars in the game.
I know that It doesn't helpe you much since you have an Xbox, but there have been rumers that the GTA games will be offered on different systems in the future. Something to look forward to.

I know this is an acient post but Project Gotham Racing 4 and Fordza 2 for the Xbox 360 have GNX's in them

my favorite so far is Grand turismo 4 for PS2. Has a GNX in it. Just realized how old this post is. GT4 was not out then
