Are these valve springs a good choice for my 2004R GN pump?

The relief valve spring is orange 2.2" (18 coils).
The pump slide spring is 1.7" (11 coils).
The pressure reg spring is pink 1.8" (12 coils)
The clutch converter valve uses two yellow springs 1.1" (10 coils) inner and 1.0" (7 coils) outer
The TV boost valve is .551" dia.
See attached photo of the springs used and the valves. Is this a good combination of parts. Any comments or suggestions on these items would be appreciated.
I am in the process of a rebuild on the trans and I am now on to the pump. Thanks

Looks like per your measurement you have the .500 boost valve. Measure the next piece. That is the rev boost and needs to be bigger too . I'm pretty sure the pink spring is the one that gets you to 275 psi but until you test with a gauge it is hard to know.
Im not familiar with the lockup side but I'm sure someone will be along soon. I do know that there is a mod to get more flow to the cooler. A search should get you that info.
You might go back with a washer to protect the pressure relief spring from the pin.

Rev boost valve only boost in manuel 1,2 and reverse. Since most of us romp it in D(3rd) it is not a mandatory upgrade.

Mandatory to me. I like to punish tires.

Texas T, are you talking about the smaller valve that goes inside the sleeve next to the boost valve? What size are you recommending? What will this do differently for the trans? Where do I buy something like that? Thanks

paul

In your pic on the top row from left to rt is the two pieces of boost valve, then the two pieces of the rev boost valve then the spring and spool. Any of our venders should have them in stock. As Steve points out it isn't mandatory but it sure gets the pressures in 1, 2 and rev up.

Why are you saying I have a .500. Boost valve? Don't you just measure the od and that is what the valve is? Not sure.
I have higher than 275 psi in full TV.
What size rev valve do you recommend?
So the spring combination looks to be OK? Thanks
Paul

Paul I was responding to Rich. I was only referring to reverse boost valve. I leave them stock as no one races in reverse, and typically we use D(3rd) and let the trans shift itself. It will hurt nothing if you want a larger rev boost valve.

I guess it could be a larger or smaller one depending on what part you measured. The second piece from the left is the piece to measure to see. If it is the .555 or the .570 then it might be more.
