Are you using the correct belt length?

Did you know your tensioner pulley has a marking on it to show if the belt is correctly integrated with it.
The dotted line on the right should line up with the arrowed line on the left.......the other line are the high and lowered limits.....

Absolutely. Many change their alternator without knowing the pulley size may be different. Making matters worse is when you go to a parts store and tell the guy behind the computer you need a new belt, they unknowingly give you a 64" belt because the computer said so . A 63" belt works well for my setup with an aftermarket alternator.

I am using the correct belt length per the manufacturer's recommendation. Mine is 1/2" shorter than correct so it actually works.
