I bought ARP head studs for my new motor and i have no clue what to torque the studs into the head to and the nuts on the studs to. Can someone help me out here???

Thanks, Dan

clean!!!!

The threads in the block must be CLEAN. Brake cleaner works good with a chaseing tap. Clean the course threads on the studs (brake cleaner or laquer thinner) I use black rtv sealant on the threads going into the block ( this works better than pipe dope) Wipe excess off once you bottom out the stud. DO NOT torque the stud into block. I use pliers to SNUG stud down (just to make sure they are fully seated).
75 ft lbs on bottom row and 80 on top row WITH ARP lube.
Use lube on bottom and top of washer along with on the threads.

Install the studs hand tight.
Torque the heads to 85ft lbs with oil and 70 ft lbs if using arp moly lube.
You should have moly lube in the box the studs came in.
Use thread sealer on each stud going into the block.
