Art Carr part number codes?

Anyone know what the different part numbers on Art Carr converters stands for? like #14960 or #16930. thanks for any input.

Len Freeman uses alto fo Art's convertors so he may have a better idea. My understanding (from the real Art Carr) is that he no longer makes the 16930, and it was a non-billet frotn cover when it was made. He now makes the 19930 and it is a billet front cover.

My understanding is that the other Art Carr guys also use the same part #'s, so that where things get confusing.

Mine is a art-carr #16930 n/l 9.5" 3400 stall non billet front and was built in 2001. I talked to art himself and he gave me this info. there is also another code on the converter and they can give you info by that.

16930 is a 9' non lock up converter, the other code are letters like o, p, n,
this is what tells the stall, that is if the real Art Carr built the converter!!
If the company in Nevada or Texas built the converter, the same codes may not apply.

Anyone know how much either art carr's would charge to rebuild a messed up 16930 convertor? When you shake mine, it rattles... someone got it too hot.

between $250.00 to $350.00 they just did mine and it also got restalled from 3,200 to 3,500 code N it use to be an 0 code
