At What Boost Level Does My Ta-54 Come Alive

just wondering at what boost level my TA-54 will come alive. i was thinking around 23+

Because it has a factory style TA compressor cover that is machined to fit the larger compressor wheel, it will limit it's efficiency. However, this can somewhat be overcome with a good intercooler or alky injection. The TA-54 likes to see boost levels between 18-25. Anything past 25 will definitely need a better than stock intercooler to help lower the charge temps created by that compressor wheel trying to squeeze all that air through the stock compressor cover. I wouldn't push it much past 27 with your combo. But at that level you should be easily in the mid-low 11's with your combo, assuming you have an aftermarket intercooler.
