At what should you go with double pumper?

Turbo6mike your at the same point I was before going to Red's dbl. pump. I had 50lb inj. then went to 60's and ran one of the two pumps and everything was fine. The XP Plus pumps that come with Red's setup are higher flowing pumps than the Walbro pumps. My Dbl. will be for sale soon going to a external Weldon pump setup. It's been in my tank since Sept 2006.

With my new motor and 72lbinj Im still runing one of the two pumps. 10.12@134mph with the worst 60'ft ever.

So what happens when one of the dual pumps fails and it suddenly goes lean ??

A/F was close to 14:1 and EGTs were 1790 on the big end. Car went 10.30 on that pass with one walbro 340. I was lucky, and nothing got hurt. This was a mistake I made, not a failure of a pump. I did not have the second pump plugged in. Whoops.

He claims 10.30 on the lean out with a 1.42. I think he let off or is sandbagging:biggrin: . I wonder what it went on the 1.299. That is a bas a$$ street car no doubt.
