ATI Convertor for TH-400

For sale:

ATI Torque convertor for TH-400 transmission, standard install height. Stall in the 3300 range at 0psi and 4500 at 8psi. Probably about 40 passes on it. Going to AL bolt together Neil Chance convertor from DLS.


This ATI convertor was bought through Jack Cotton and was speced to be the same as his unit in his car.

$550 plus shipping, or can deliever to BG.

Are those stalls posted using a tbrake and for about what power engine?

I may need to tweak my existing convertor but have to see which way i need to go.

I do not know the torque level the engine is at at those stalls. It was on a 274" S2 GN-1 headed car using a T-brake.

I have used the foot brake, but could only hold 4psi with drum brakes. I should have put the engine size, sorry.

I have ran a best of 9.21 @ 148 with the convertor in a 3450lb car. I have used this convertor with a Jack 76MM turbonetics turbo, GT-47/80, GT-47-88 turbo and worked very well in the spooling department.

is it the "fuel and altered" series? 9in i presume? thanks, jeremy
