ATR check valve

I have a quick question, I got a used one that is brass and looks like the Tomka one, and has a little open hole cylinder inside the big end and has valve on the small end with what appears to be a clip of some sort holding it on. Which side goes where and does this one replace the pcv???

Retire the OEM hose and use a properly trimmed P/N 10055808 hose to replace it...

Would the Tomka check valve fit using a 3/8 hose?
